A little bit about the Trustees of the Baby Bank Network
Dr Becky Gilbert
Dr Becky Gilbert is an epidemiologist, working on improving screening for prostate cancer as part of her postdoc for Cancer Research UK. The mother-of-two co-founded the organisation and is the driving force behind Baby Bank Network, overseeing much of the day-to-day running of the charity. She was named Trustee of the year in the 2016 Voscurs, volunteering awards for the city of Bristol.
Baby Bank Network Chair, Eva Fernandes, has strong ethical and environmental values and a strong belief that all the little things we do, as individuals and a community, add up to make a big difference. Eva, who is also a mum-of-two, co-founded Baby Bank Network along with Becky.
Melissa Burgers is a Production Manager and a mother of three, and has first-hand knowledge of just how generous people are when it comes to passing on preloved baby items. She is delighted to be involved in this charity as Treasurer.
Nicola Manclark joins us as Trustee overseeing the legal side of running and growing a charity. She works for Burges Salmon in Bristol and has two young daughters.
Laura Williams is a trained journalist, digital marketing expert and mum. She joins us as a Trustee and oversees marketing and fundraising for Baby Bank Network.
