Gosh we have been busy, although it feels like there is still so much to do. Major change is that we have welcomed Mel to the team. Mel loves figures and so is perfect for our Treasurer role. The 3 of us (myself, Eva, Becky G and Mel) met on Sunday morning to go through our massive to do list and allocate jobs. We’re using this really nifty tool that Born uses to manage people and jobs called Slack.
Donations are coming in already, thank you to those who have left items at Born or the Big Yellow Self Storage. If you would like to donate please check out this page first for information http://babybanknetwork.com/how-you-can-help-2/donations-required/
We are hosting a meeting on the 5th of July at Kudacan Community Hub 7 Dongola Avenue, Bishopston, Bristol BS7 9HG from 2-4pm where anyone who is interested in helping out in some way can come along. We have had some fab offers of skills on our Facebook page and are lucky to have on board copywriters, a photographer and graphic designer. A skill we could definitely do with as soon as possible is someone to help with funding applications as no only is this time consuming but they appear to be written in code!
This afternoon we are talking to Bristol 24/7 magazine so expect to see us in there in a future edition.
