Our services
Core referral service
Our core service has been developed over the last eight years and works on a referral basis. We have built strong relationships with organisations and networks across Bristol including staff from children’s centres, Health Visitors, midwives and other charities who work with families who might need our support. These partners can make referrals and liaise with our team to request the items a family needs. Our warehouse volunteers then sort and pack the bundles ready to be collected, rehomed and given a new lease of life with a new family.
If you are interested in becoming a referral partner, you can find out more here.
If you are in need of our support, please ask your Health Visitor, social worker or other agency if they can refer you to our service.
Sparks Bristol
This Spring, Baby Bank Network Bristol made its first baby steps into the community! We were excited to be part of Sparks Bristol, a new inclusive arts and sustainable development hub in the heart of Bristol’s shopping district.
Part of the ‘department store with a difference’, we set up a charity shop selling pre-loved baby and children’s clothes, toys, books and maternity clothing – all sold to raise funds for our core service supporting families experiencing poverty or crisis.
Our shop was a pilot project which we have really enjoyed and learnt a lot from. It is now time to move on and look at other projects to continue improving our service supporting families in Bristol.
Our shop will be closing by the end of January (exact date TBC).
Our swap shop at Sparks – last date is Wednesday 20th December
We have enjoyed welcoming families to our swap shop at Sparks Bristol.
THis was a pilot project which we have really enjoyed and learnt a lot from. It is now time to move on.
Our last swap shop and storytelling will be on Wednesday 20th December 11-1.
